Partial scholarships are offered to blind young people striving to
obtain a college education. Scholarships are given on a limited basis to
those who qualify. Application forms are available from the Christian
Record Services main office upon request. For more information check

full information.
The
"Special Needs" grant award is open to all homeschool students with mild
to severe learning disabilities. Available funds will assist in covering
the cost for specialized tutoring, testing, student evaluations,
educational equipment, specialized curriculum needs, etc. Families can
apply for this grant once each year since educational needs change.
Funds will be paid to service providers. Applications will be available
for this Grant Award when funding is available. This program is
presently in the fund-raising stage. If you would like to be a financial

The
Postsecondary Scholarship is open to all homeschool students with a
graduating level equivalency as designated by ACT/SAT test scores,
Vocational/Technical Certificate programs or four (4) year
college/university entry acceptance requirements regardless of age.
Applications will be available for scholarships when funding is
available. This program is presently in the fund-raising stage. If you

The purpose of the Herb
Kohl Excellence Scholarship program is to recognize student leadership,
citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement.
The Foundation awards $1,000 Excellence Scholarships to 100 Wisconsin
high school graduates annually. Homeschooled Wisconsin students receive
a proportionate number of the total scholarships awarded each year. For

UW-ROCK COUNTY HOME SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP
WHO: All home school students (matriculating and special students) currently enrolled or admitted to UW-Rock County will be eligible to apply
WHAT: An annual scholarship given to an outstanding home school student
WHERE: UW-Rock County campus, 2909 Kellogg Ave, Janesville, WI
WHEN: Starting the 2008-2009 academic year
Qualifications:
Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year of home schooling prior to application
Requirements:
- All students must submit ACT or SAT scores
- Scholarship application
- Admission to UW-Rock County
- Current Transcript
- Two letters of recommendation
- Completed essay – approximately 200 words
- Resume or portfolio prepared by the student, showing representative work
UW-Rock County is a non-profit organization that provides resources to enhance the academic and campus environment of the UW-Rock County campus. Over 30 scholarships are currently offered to students each year totaling more than $38,000 dollars. The Home School Scholarship fund is specifically geared towards homeschooled students enrolled or admitted to UW-Rock County campus.
